Best authenticator apps for Android and iOS Aegis AuthenticatorĪegis has a pleasant interface which is minimal, and easy to use (no account or phone number required). The app will save the account's information and display the 2-step verification codes, that you can use to secure your account. All you need to do to use an authenticator app, is to visit the settings page of the account that you want to protect, and point your phone's camera at the QR Code displayed on the screen. This is why apps that support Time-based One Time Passwords (TOTPs) are better, they don't require a network connection, which means they work offline. Email codes have the same issue, you can't use them without an internet connection, and they are sent via plain text. Also, SMS-based codes require you to have a working cellular connection, which can be a problem if your service provider is suffering a network outage, or if you can't find a signal, i.e. You should know that SMS-based two factor authentication (2FA) is not safe, they are prone to SIM-swap attacks and can be captured by hackers. I like the ramming but when it's the only thing worth doing it gets a bit odd that the rest of the game is focused on the armaments. Why you should use TOTP apps, and not SMS-based 2FA Ramming does so much more damage than the guns it's kind of odd. The game feels like it should be much faster paced. The speed their healthbars decrease is boring, you just stand there shooting and dodging the rare projectile that comes your way. The default guns i went with are barely audible when they're firing, and have no feeling of impact with they hit enemies. nothing moves fast enough to justify it either, the opponents in the demo were just slow. It's more fun to feel like you're actually smacking high caliber shells into your targets yourself, seeing your guns snap to enemies when you get close enough is annoying. The autoaim guns still have convergence problems too, which is silly. Second, the primary guns have an autoaim cone. Might just want to clarify the branding there. So uh, first thing is that because of the look of the cockpit and admittedly short 3 second preview clip on the demo page, in addition to the name "Descent", as well as flight theming, i thought this would be a 6dof game.
